Finally, allow us to aid you in your transition back to ‘real life,’ with our signature departure services.
You’ve finally arrived for a long-awaited beach vacation, the car’s unpacked and you’re eager to feel the sand beneath your feet – but WAIT – first someone has to head back out to the grocery store to tackle the massive grocery list. Coordinated with your arrival, a member of our team will receive your grocery list, clarify any questions, then purchase and deliver your order. When you arrive, your refrigerator and pantry (and/or bar) will be stocked and waiting, allowing you to begin relaxing from the moment you arrive.

A premier service, Arrival Services ensures two strong and able bodied helpers will be available upon your arrival. Arrival Services is also ideally suited to families with young children, retirees or the client who simply prefers not to ‘pack light.’
Sometimes it’s logistically impossible to pack all of the beach ‘stuff’ you would like to bring – including beach chairs, umbrellas, cruiser bikes, coolers, beach toys. Instead of dealing with myriad local vendors, a single call to The Scout Group will handle your request and provide delivery before you’ve even walked through the door.
For families traveling with small children, The Scout Group offers Baby Equipment Rentals: full-size cribs, pack-n-plays, high chairs, booster seats, strollers, joggers, car seats, bouncy seats, swings, toys, tubs – you name it. Immediately prior to delivery each item is sanitized and carefully inspected to ensure quality. The Scout Group can coordinate with your rental agency to ensure that your equipment is delivered and set up prior to your arrival.
Families with small children arriving via plane? Let us lighten your load. Allow a member of The Scout Group to meet you at the Arrival gate with your requested stroller rental. From there they can assist you with your baggage and accompany you to your rental car where they will help install your carseat rental and send you on your way.
Visitors to the Charleston area sometimes miss a local opportunity simply because they don’t know it exists. To prevent this, The Scout Group can provide you with a Local Advisor. A Local Advisor can be described as both a knowledgeable local and a personal concierge – capable of making activity and/or dining recommendations and reservations.
Our Local Advisor will listen to and assess your vacation priorities and suggest opportunities to make your vacation a lasting and memorable experience. Additionally, for first time visitors our Local Advisors can meet your travel party to help with basic orientation including where to find the nearest specialty grocery, local shopping, etc.
